Great Britain
Great Britain is the largest island in Europe. It has an area of 209, 331 km2 or (80, 823 sq. mi.). Great Britain is the top 10 largest island in the world. With all this space there population is pretty large. There population is 64.1 million people.
There are somethings that might affect the people or their environment. For example, the weather seems to be pretty chilly. It has an average of 8.5 to 11 degrees Celsius or ( 47.3 to 51.8 degrees Fahrenheit). This might cause them to wear jackets and pants rather than shorts and a short sleeve shirt. In Great Britain there are many resources so they have good trade.
The Alps
The Alps is a huge mountain range that stretch to be 4810 meters (15, 782 ft). Its is also 1,200 kilometers (750 miles). The Alps were formed about 44 million years ago and is home to many glaciers. The Alps can be found in Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Germany, France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco.
The mountain range is huge, but global warming has caused the glaciers on the mountain to melt. Then when they melt it causes landslides and many rocks to fall. This is also making the water to increase by 10 % in the region. This also cause isolation, because some countries like Italy gets separated from the rest of Europe.

The Black Sea
Many rivers and Mediterranean sea flow into the Black Sea. The Black Sea is a huge body of water that has an area of sq. km. 436, 400. Maximum Depth of 2,244m. This sea was built 7,500 years ago. The countries that border the Black Sea is Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Russia, and Georgia
The Black Sea is really an important sea to Europe. It is great for fishing but not so great for drinking. There is 1 gram of salt in a liter. To reduced salinity most important environmental factor influencing marine biodiversity in the Black Sea. There is also lots of pollution in this sea.
Volga River
This river is located in Russia and is the longest river in Europe. It flows 2,294 miles long. There are 10 dams that go through the Volga River so that it doesn't flood the land around it. In some areas you can not see the other side of the river. This river also held a battle in WW2 called Battle of Stalingrad.
Volga River is a very important symbolically to the Russian people referred to as Mother Volga and featured in Russian folklore, song, and stories. On the other hand there is a lot of pollution that goes into this river. People and factories pollute this river. Estimated 10 billion cubic yards of waste a year is dumped by factories.

Albania has the largest oilfield in Europe. It produces 11,554 barrels every day. Oil is measured in barrels which is 42 gallons in the US 159 Liters anywhere. 45% of oil is made for gasoline in the world.
Europe uses oil for many thing like gasoline, energy, and many other things. About 90% of oil is used for energy. Europe has lots of oil fields but also imports about half (53%) oil from a variety of counties.

Coal is a combustible black or dark brown rock consisting mainly of carbonized plant matter, found mainly in underground deposits and widely used as fuel. Its used a lot in Europe for many different things. The top 3 produces in Russian, Kazakhstan, and Poland. Russia has the largest coal mine in Europe. Russia produces 151.4 million tones of it a year.
This provides jobs all over Europe. In 2012, 240,000 people had got a job in Europe. Coal mining has many hazard for the people that works there. Some of the hazards are falling objects, equipment, and roof collapsed.
